This is a great way to add movement to naturally straight hair or refine curls or waves on naturally curly hair—the conditioning helps make sure your hair stays manageable.

1. Add Aussie’s Catch the Wave Mousse + Leave-In Conditioner to roots and loosely blow dry hair upward.

2. Separate hair and wrap 2” sections around a closed 1” curling iron—like the swirls on a candy cane. Wrap away from the face to get the most flattering wave; otherwise, it looks like a banana curl.

3. Work around your head with the same wrapping, then run fingers through hair and separate the pieces into soft, bouncy waves.

4. Take down the bun in the morning for perfectly settled and natural waves.
